A free, minimal focus timer, legal

Nook is made by TTB INTERNATIONAL LLC. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: Nook has no accounts and no servers of ours, and we don’t collect anything about you.
Nothing. Nook does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on our servers, because we don’t operate any. There is no sign-up, no account, and no analytics or tracking of any kind in the app.
Everything you put into Nook, your focus session history, the task labels you type, your timer durations, and your alarm sound choice, is stored on your iPhone using Apple’s SwiftData framework. It is never uploaded anywhere. Deleting the app removes it.
If you allow notifications, Nook schedules them locally on your device, through iOS itself, to tell you when a focus session or break ends. These never pass through a server we control, because none exists.
A future version of Nook may offer optional cross-device sync. If it does, it will use Apple’s CloudKit under your own iCloud account: the same private system Apple uses for iCloud backups, and it will be opt-in. This policy will be updated first, and nothing will change for you unless you turn it on.
Nook is suitable for all ages and does not collect data from anyone, including children.
Nook contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party trackers. It makes no network requests at all.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top.
